Into the Gunfire

An upcoming Korean movie that i really want to watch and cannot wait for it to be finished !
With a cast consisting of Kwon Sang Woo and T.O.P (two fantastic actors), it makes this movie even more interesting to watch even though its going to be base on war and here is the only info on the storyline

"Into the Gunfire" is based on the true story of 71 students who fought hundreds of North Korean soldiers in front of a middle school during the Korean War. Kap-jo (Sang-woo Kwon) was formerly a student who was convicted of murder. While serving his sentence he volunteers to fight as a soldier ...

Notes

  1. Early working title for the film was "71".
  2. Seung-ho Yu & Kim Beom were originally cast in the lead roles, but with Taewon Entertainment taking over production a decision was made to cast Sang-woo Kwon & T.O.P instead.
  3. "Into the Gunfire" is based on the real story of 71 students who fought hundreds of North Korean soldiers in front of Pohang girls’ middle school during the Korean War. A letter was found from one of the 71 deceased soldiers which inspired the movie.
  4. Estimated budget is 12 billion Won (10.4 million USD).
  5. Filming begins November 25th with an expected release date sometime in the middle of 2010.
